Prior to co-founding Frontier Investment Management, Kim worked with private equity investments in emerging markets for IFU for 7 years of which two were spent as Head of Regional Office in Johannesburg. Prior to IFU Kim worked with M&A, venture capital financing, restructuring, and general Danish and international business law, for a total of 7 years as associate and senior associate in two leading Danish law firms. Kim has also co-founded and co-developed two start-ups, including New York based Trunk Archive. He holds a M.Sc. Law from the University of Copenhagen and an MBA from INSEAD.
Prior to co-founding Frontier Investment Management, Anders worked 2 years for a technology start-up, 2 years leading an internet start-up, and 10 years assisting Danish companies with business development in emerging markets as consultant and partner in a consultancy firm under the Confederation of Danish Industries, with 80 employees and offices in Denmark, China, India, Russia, Brazil and USA, hereof 2 years full time on a 50m EUR greenfield agriculture investment in Russia. He has lived in China and India, and travelled extensively to Africa, Latin America and Russia. He holds a M.Sc International Business from Copenhagen Business School.
Prior to co-founding Frontier Investment Management, Lars worked 12 years with investments, business organizations, political leaders and international organizations in wide range of emerging markets as consultant & Partner and managing director in a consultancy firm under the Confederation of Danish Industries with 80 employees and offices in Denmark, China, India, Russia, Brazil and USA. He holds a M. Sc. Econ from the University of Copenhagen and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Leadership Development.
Prior to co-founding Frontier Investment Management, Daniel worked 7 yearswith sourcing, development and implementation of investment projects in a wide range of frontier markets and industries as consultant and partner in a consultancy firm under the Confederation of Danish Industries, with 80 employees and offices in Denmark, China, India, Russia, Brazil and USA,. During his career he has specialized in project financing; energy efficiency financing; investment guarantees and export credit facilities; international strategy development; and the carbon credit market. He holds a B.Sc. International Business from Copenhagen Business School and M.Sc. Finance from London School of Economics.
Prior to co-founding Frontier Investment Management, Gert worked as a Project Manager for FLSmidth A/S for 5 years managing large complex engineering and supply projects from contract negotiation to commissioning. Prior to FLSmidth Gert worked as a contract manager for Krüger and before that he started his career as project manager for Vestas Wind Systems. At Vestas he undertook the first installation of a wind turbine in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds an engineering degree from VIA University College and a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School.
Prior to joining Frontier Investment Management, Bernard worked as Director for Renewable Energy at the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) of Kenya for 2 years where he a.o. was in charge of preparing national strategic plans for energy efficiency and renewable energy. Prior to ERC, Bernard worked as Environment, Resources Recovery Manager for Lafarge East Africa and before that he worked on numerous different projects within renewable energy in Kenya and other countries in the region. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Nairobi and an M Sc. in Renewable Energy from CVO University of Oldenburg in Germany.
Prior to joining Frontier Investment Management, Arundhati worked as an independent environmental management consultant for more than 20 years. Arundhati has extensive experience in environmental and social impact assessment, environmental risk, compliance and due diligence audits, and in implementing and certifying ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems. Her work has covered various sectors, including energy, transportation, water supply and sanitation, manufacturing and tourism in rural and urban settings throughout Africa. She is a Chartered Environmentalist, and holds academic degrees in Environmental Chemical Engineering from Exeter University, UK, and an MSc in Environmental Resources from the University of Salford, UK.
